As a network partner of LNG.Agentur Niedersachsen, LIQUIND has been supporting the development of LNG infrastructure in Northern Germany since October 2020. The aim of the LNG.Agentur is to develop and use the economic opportunities that the development of LNG can offer companies and the region in Northern Germany. The overarching goals of the project include the promotion of LNG infrastructure development on the North Sea coast of Lower Saxony, the development of bio-LNG development potential and the promotion of the development and use of LNG-powered ships and land-based vehicles. These goals fit perfectly with LIQUIND’s development of a Germany-wide LNG filling station network and the delivery of LNG to fuel ships in German sea and inland ports.

The LNG.Agentur Niedersachsen, as a project, is funded by the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy (BMWi) and the State of Lower Saxony through the “Joint Task to Improve Regional Economic Structure” (GWR). Further information on the activities of the LNG.Agentur Niedersachsen:
